What is Nia fitness workout?
Nia is a sensory-based movement practice that draws from martial arts, dance arts and healing arts. It is based on both Eastern and Western philosophy. Nia helps to vitalize the body & soul.

How does Nia work?
Nia draws from Tai Chi, Tae Kwon Do, Aikido, jazz dance, modern dance, Duncan dance, yoga, Alexander Technique and Teachings of Moshe Feldenkrais. Every workout offers a unique combination of 52 moves. Stiff beginners and highly fit people alike can adapt Nia to meet their personal needs by choosing from three intensity levels. The overriding principle of Nia is pleasure; do what feels good and invigorating, while avoiding anything that hurts or is exhausting.
